Ally Pyle and the Pyle Group are proud to once again sponsor and take part in this years Peterborough Butterfly Run. The run took place on April 30th, 2023 at Millennium Park, the first live run in 4 years!
Over 1000 people came out for the run to participate in the 1KM Kids Fun Run, 1KM Memorial Walk or 5KM Run/Walk. The event raised over $100,000 making it the highest grossing Peterborough Butterfly Run since its inception in 2017.
Funds raised from the event have been used to provide ongoing specialized education in Perinatal Bereavement Care to healthcare providers across Peterborough City and County, establish lending libraries for individuals and their families, as well as the development of bereavement kits for families and individuals who experience early and later pregnancy and infant loss. Since 2018, more than 500 bereavement kits have been provided to families and individuals by health care providers in the community and the Peterborough Regional Health Centre (PRHC).
Andrew Pyle and The Pyle Group are proud to sponsor the Canadian Mental Health Association Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge's (CMHA HKPR) Change the Cycle Event that took place at Nichols Oval on June 24th, 2023. The event raised funds and mental health awareness for the CMHA's Garden Homes Project.
This year the Change the Cycle raised a total of $40,213.11. The Garden Homes Project is a new initiative of Supportive Housing that aims to support vulnerable individuals who are at risk of homelessness in the Peterborough area by providing affordable, small homes.
This holiday season Andrew Pyle and the Pyle Group have made a donation on behalf of all of our clients to a number of charities this year; The Canadian Mental Health Association - building small homes to house the vulnerable, Peterborough Regional health Centre Foundation - Oncology, Five Counties Children Centre - speech and language program, The Alzheimer's Society as well as the Peterborough Humane Society and the Lakefield Animal Shelter.
The Pyle Group recently became one of the first founders of the Junior Achievement and Eastern Ontario (JA NEO) Legacy Fund. Our contribution will help maintain the strength of JA NEO's legacy/endowment fund.
The Pyle Group is proud to once again sponsor this year's Pink in the Rink game in support of the Canadian Cancer Society. This year a total of $76,952.18 was raised during the 13th annual Pink in the Rink game that took place on Saturday April 9th, 2022.
